The Lindy Project resumes Levels I & II at Footworks starting Monday, January 8th.

Also, we added Level III - kicking off Wednesday the 10th at Tapestry. This class is our technique month.

Because the holidays are hectic, December will have two weeks of Workshops taught by The Lindy Project and local lindy celeb: Bill Borgida! The third week we top it off with a special, FREE, Video Clip Party and Dance. Check the classes page for all the details.

The Lindy Project is having it's first contest!!! Who ever can get the most new students registered for the November Lindy Project class series gets to pick what color to dye Crazy Mike's hair!

Thanks to everyone who made the first month of The Lindy Project's existence infinitely better than a new born baby's first month! (No one fell asleep or vomited in class.)

Our beginner classes (aka Level 1) have had such excellent support that they will keep shakin' at 7 PM on Monday nights.

You asked for it... You got it! Starting in October, The Lindy Project will be offering Level 2, an intermediate lindy hop class, at Footworks dance studio from 8-9 PM every Monday night. Take a look at our Classes page.

This Monday, September 25th from 8-9pm, we are having a workshop style class taught by Scott and Jeannie for all intermediate level students. As a special tip of our hats to the great community we have in town, we are offering a 50% discount for this class to Austin Swing Syndicate members!

Tomorrow night The Lindy Project's first  series of classes begins at 7pm at Footworks downtown Austin. By the way, FREE parking is available over at City Hall, 301 W 2nd St. We're really excited to finally get things up and running. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Our Project Begins! Footworks Dance studio in downtown Austin is having an open house Thursday, September 7th. The Lindy Project will teach a free beginner Swing and Lindy Hop class from 8:15 to 9:00pm.

Starting on Monday the 11th, regular lessons will commence at Footworks in downtown Austin. Beginner Swing and Lindy Hop are at 7:00pm and advanced Lindy Hop are at 8:00pm. The September series will be 3 classes and only $30, due to labor day. Come and be among the first to experience the next stage in Lindy Hop training in Austin.
