Austin Swing Syndicate
Offers regular dances and social events in Austin, including our weekly Thursday night dance at the Fed.

Quality Seafood
From 6:30 to 8:30, there is dancing to the hot sounds of Aunt Rubie's Sweet Jazz Babies every Monday night. The floor's not great, so bring slippery shoes.

Kick Butt Blues
Djed Blues dancing every Friday night at Kick Butt Coffee.

Monthly Dances

Engine Room
Run by two local swing dancers, this event happens the third Saturday of every month and features some of the very best dance jazz musicians in town. The location is cool and casual, and has foosball!

Austin Events

Austin Lindy Exchange (ALX)
This event is the weekend before Thanksgiving. No classes, no competitions - just solid social dancing, visiting Austin, and hanging out with friends.

Lone Star Championships
This is a major competition where lots of people from all over the world come to throw down and show their stuff. Look for this event every year in January.

Hot Rhythm Holiday
This is an event dedicated to Shag and Balboa, but there is, of course, also lindy hop.

Austin Blues Party (ABP)
This is a big workshop weekend for blues dancers, and happens every 4th of July Weekend. Come out and celebrate.

Go Dance
This is another great studio to learn all sorts of partner dances. They also throw a montly lindy dance on select Fridays.
