Angela started dancing Lindy Hop in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2002. The first Lindy workship she took was a Frankie Manning workshop in March of 2003. A year later, she started performing in group routines at health fairs, nursing homes, and other local community events. She began traveling to dance events and was completely hooked. Angela performed and competed as a member of the Mad Hoppers from 2004 - 2005. In 2006, Angela moved to Austin, TX, to marry the love of her life, whom she met at Swing Out New Hampshire (This one time, at dance camp . . . ). Angela has been teaching with The Lindy Project since 2008.
